Situated directly above our Tunbridge Wells showroom - just a short walk from the train station - Brittens Music School provides high-quality, bespoke music lessons for both children and adults. Whether you are picking up an instrument for the first time or preparing for advanced grade exams, our experienced team of independent tutors is here to guide your musical journey. Children can start their instrumental lessons from age 7, while our wonderful Colour Strings classes offer the perfect start for younger musicians.

Early Years: Colourstrings Music School

Brittens is proud to run specialised Colourstrings Music School classes, designed specifically to foster early musical awareness in babies, toddlers, and young children.

How Our Lessons Work

At Brittens Music School, tuition is structured around our academic terms to ensure steady, structured progress. After taking an optional, no-obligation trial lesson to make sure you find the right fit, lessons are booked on a termly basis. You will enjoy regular, one-to-one tuition with the same dedicated teacher at the same time every week, allowing you to build a familiar routine and learn at a pace that suits you best.
