A piano with a great history, this Whitney upright piano started life as a Pianola when it was first built in Boston (US) in the 1930's (we believe), after a long period in Columbia it travelled across 'the Pond' and has been in the UK for many years now.

The Pianola workings have long since been removed, but the piano remains functional and has a lovely distinctive sound. It still features the sliding doors at the top where, 'back in the day', the pianola rolls would have scrolled across. The overall finish is a fascinating dark oak, textured feel... and then there are a pair of candlesticks to complete the look! 

Whilst 'sold as seen', this piano does still play and needs to to be seen and played to appreciate it's unusual character. A real talking point.

A full 88 keys, 3 pedals and brass colour fitments and fittings.
