Musical Instrument Try Out Day at Brittens - Saturday 1st November 2025

We are excited to announce that the next Brittens Music Instrument Try-Out Day is on Saturday 1st November 2025, from 10:30am to 4:00pm, and will be held at our store on Grove Hill Road, Tunbridge Wells (Kent).

Visitors of all ages and abilities are welcome to come along and have a go, and there are lots of types of instruments to choose from! Fancy a blow of a clarinet or trombone? What about trying a cello? Everything from small violins and ukuleles to a French Horn will be available for you to get your hands on. 

As always, our expert team will be on hand to help you or your child learn how to make sounds from each of the instruments and answer questions about them.

Our Try-Out Days are a wonderful opportunity to experience and compare how each type of instrument sounds and plays, so you can be sure before you buy that you or your child is excited about the prospect of owning one! If you want to try one for even longer check out our Instrument Rental Scheme.

For those who feel they would like to have music lessons and learn to play an instrument too, either for fun or to work through recognised music grades, we have our own Music School on the 1st floor of our Tunbridge Wells store.

Come along and have go, it may be the beginning of a wonderful musical journey!
