How will
it be delivered?
Most items delivered
to a UK address will be despatched using either Royal Mail First Class or by
City Link. Delivery of Pianos will be undertaken by a trained furniture delivery
company and the company may vary depending on where in the UK the Piano is being
delivered. Clavinovas will usually be delivered courier or for local delivery,
a member of Brittens staff.

Carriage charges to UK addresses as of September 2002 are as follows

Which
countries are included in the UK?
The following countries are included in our definition of the UK for delivery purposes: England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. For deliveries outside the UK additional delivery charges will apply of which you will be informed by e-mail once your order has been received.
How
long will it take to arrive?
Sheet Music, CDs and General Accessories will be despatched according to availability. If an item is in stock we will make every effort to despatch it to you within one working day. If we need to order it from our supplier we will make every effort to despatch it to you between 7 to 10 days from the date of your order. From time to time an item will be discontinued by the supplier before we have deleted it from the website. In this situation we will inform you as soon as we become aware of the situation and will try to offer an appropriate substitute.
NB: For delivery outside of the UK items will take approximately a further 7 days from date of despatch to arrive at address.

and Availability
We offer you consistently low prices on our entire stock of sheet music, CDs, Instruments and Accessories. Our “Price", as displayed, is inclusive of UK VAT at the appropriate rate.
When
We Charge Your Card
We do
not charge your credit or debit card until the day we despatch your order
If you have paid by cheque and we owe you a full or partial refund, we will send a refund cheque for the correct amount.
What we do about mispricings
Despite
our best efforts, a small number of items in our catalogue may be mispriced.
Rest assured, however, that we verify prices as part of our despatch procedures.
If an
item's correct price is lower than our stated price, we charge the lower amount
and send you the item.
If an item's correct price is higher than our stated price, we contact you for instructions before despatching.
Confirming
availability and price
If you
would prefer to confirm the availability of an item before you order it you
can call us free on 0808 1000 440. Other than this we cannot be more specific
about availability. As we process your order, we will inform you by e-mail if
any items you order turn out to be unavailable.
We cannot confirm the price until you order, but please note that we do NOT charge credit or debit cards until the date we send your order to you!
Our
Returns Policy
If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return it to us in its original condition within 30 days of the date you received the item, unopened (with any seals and shrink wrap intact) and we will exchange it for another item or issue a credit note. In some situations we may be able to organise a full refund, this is at the Shop Manager's discretion. Please note: We can only accept the return of opened items if they are faulty or if we have sent you the wrong item, in this situation a full refund will be given.
